In addition to the Luck O' The Zombie event, Plants vs. as I said, the Dandelion is cool, I especially love that it interacts with certain plants directly (which isn't really something they did before, not counting the Magnifying Grass's Plant Food) but it's not that good.Enjoy this golden event with the return of two premium plants: Electric Blueberry, a plant that instantly electrocutes and vanquishes a random zombie every few seconds, and Jack O' Lantern, a plant that can unleash a flamethrower attack across several tiles in a lane. i see the comparison to the Homing Thistle a lot and I can agree, it kind of uses the same concept but the Homing Thistle just is so much better. it does pretty minor damage in a pretty big area so it's acceptable, but not worth the Plant Food in most situations. each of the Big Pellets you get when using Plant Food do 10 DMG, which is only enough to take out a normal Zombie/ an Imp. in that aspect it's great against Chickens but it's bad if you don't use that ability then. 1 DMG for each Pellet that is produced when you Blover or Hurrikale it is just awful and it has to recharge before the Dandelion itself can attack again.
it's a cool plant but its damage output is just bad. you better not rely on it to be your main offense because that's not what that Dandelion is.
They can support your strategy pretty nicely, but that's it. Its damage isn't even that bad, it's pretty good but the fact that it doesn't concentrate on a Zombie if there are others in sight makes it a really not-that-great Crowd Control Plant, unless you have a lot of them, which is pretty unusual, given its pretty high price and stupidly long reload time, they don't do a lot. The Projectile Speed is pretty damn slow, the Fire Rate is pretty bad, it shoots in three lines one at a time if there are Zombies in those lines. I mean it does do 2.5 DMG per normal shot, which kills a normal Zombie with 4 hits but that's as good as it gets.
